Issue # 001 - SUDDENLY! A Wild Thing Appears! [Action]
Falling dreams are normal. You lock up with a start in your bed whenever you hit the ground, blink up at the ceiling before rolling over and going back to bed. Or you wake up mid fall, hit the carpet, groan, then climb back in to fall asleep again. Or try to. They're universal. If you can fall or fly or know of the concept- you can have a falling dream.
Ben Grimm has flying dreams, most often. Not the ones where you sail along in the middle of nowhere in nothing but your pajamas- flight dreams of controls and cockpits and the thrill of the test. Pushing a carefully crafted machine to the limit and then some. Twisting mid air and hitting the highest peak before plummeting down with all the weight of gravity wrapping around his gut and giving it a solid yank. That's his kind of falling dream.
Normally when he has them, he wakes up when he hits the ground.
Waking up mid fall is odd.
Waking up literally mid-air?
A revolt'n development.
He can't see or hear past the rush of wind, can't really get a good look at the ground beyond an impression of trees, houses, water way out over to the side. No sign of Reed, Sue, or Johnny. Nowhere soft to land either.
"Aw $%#@%!"
The landing's rough. He's had rougher, but he thinks he skips a few times. Barrels through a few trees. Clips a building, glances off a roof somewhere. Lands in...he has no idea. But the wall shears open like tissue paper and he finally rumbles to a stop, swearing in a low, gravely voice.
"...hate when that happens."
[ooc: Break time if you like, Ben can land anywhere and everywhere- in your home, in front of your place of business, in the fountain. Find him wherever you want! Break time!]

action
Essentially we've been kidnapped by a group called the Malnosso. This place is called Luceti and we can't leave. There's a barrier surrounding this place that limits powers and keeps us in. And people brought here tend to be from different universes. [Those were the basics anyways.]
Really, I think you should read the guide. It explains a lot.
action
[That did explain why he felt so heavy and tired. Ben shakes his head and flips open the book, giving the guide a quick read through. Different worlds, timelines, etc. Reed would have a field day.]
...s'good t'see ya Cap.
action
Um, yeah. You to...[Here comes the hard part. How do you break it to someone that you're not the person someone things you are. Well...you are but not the version they know. Oh well, might as well tear off like a band aid.]
Have you gotten to the part about alternate universes yet?
action
[He keeps flipping through and rumbles a faint chuckle.]
Yeah, I did. You're not ours. Too young f'one. And I think he's a little broader about the shoulders- that'll come with time though.
action
That last part makes him pause, partially surprised. Is it really that obvious?]
Uh...yeah, sure. I don't believe I caught your name Mr...?
action
[He holds out a three fingered hand with a rocky grin.]
Nice to meet you Steve.
action
Likewise, Ben.
I believe we have a mutual friend here.
action
[It would make sense that way. God help him if it's Johnny. Please. Please don't be Johnny.]
action
Sue Richards.

[Frankly he'd been much more curious about his alternate universe self.]
