He's siting on the sofa in their, his, apartment when the video goes up in the afternoon, gravely face somber.
"Sue Richards went home today. T'her friends she's left a coupla things. Swing by her place and I'll hand 'em out or I'll come find ya if ya don't by the end of the day."
He shut the feed off after that, tired, feeling heavy and a little old. Everything's quieter without Suzie around. But she's home with the kids and, if he thought about it, him and everyone else. She's a big girl. She'll be fine.
Billy, Teddy, and Clint can expect a rapp'n on their door from one large gravely hand and a mention of a grill out in the evening. Instructions to come, bring a side, a coupla questions about preferences. The same invitation's extended to Howard, and heck, he can even bring Bucky. Guy looked like he needed it. Tony got a scrawled out note taped to his door if he didn't answer, an offer to have a plate or two packed up for him and Pepper if they didn't feel up to coming. After that Ben's wandering to the grocery store on his own for the first time in a long while, fill'n up a cart with snacks and grill'n goods, the item store for a few extra plates and whatever grilling equipment he couldn't find already and some extra chairs, tables, etc.
That night there would be a mighty, manly grill'n going on. Something simple for everyone that knew Sue, or just needed a quick bite. It'll be going on just out front of CH5. Even if you weren't invited if you wander by feel free to grab a plate and some food. There's plenty to go around and Mama Grimm raised her boy t'be polite.
